Hello!
My name is Ms. Grant (she/her) and I am currently in the UVic PDPP Elementary program. I am passionate about education, especially outdoor education, hand-on learning and using trauma informed practices and SEL practices to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. I believe everyone deserves a quality education.
I have a degree in Biology from UVic and currently live on the territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən (Songhees and Esquimalt) and W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples. I endeavor to eliminate stereotypes and connect people with the rich history of place and land.
I am also a preschool teacher, girl guide leader and nature enthusiast.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, working in wildlife rehabilitation, scrapbooking and petting my cat, Enoki, and 4 (yes 4!) guinea pigs, Tui, Kiora, Tilley and Beanie.
